OUR SCHOOL
Thank you for considering Little Roots Early School as a preschool for your child. Our mission is to provide superior childcare service with an educational and developmentally appropriate program designed to nurture the “whole child” – intellectually, physically, imaginatively, emotionally, and socially. Little Roots Early School has developed a curriculum that is designed to challenge and stimulate each child on a daily basis and ultimately instill a lifelong love of learning. Little Roots Early School promotes an environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and social development through structured activities and actively engaged learning. Our center’s commitment to excellence is critical for your child’s overall growth and development in these formative years.
We are confident that our program will provide your child with opportunities for growth in every area of development. In addition to our state-of-the-art facility, we have highly trained preschool teachers who have completed specialized training in early childhood education. We also offer before-care programs for parents who work full time so they can drop their children off early in the morning or pick them up late after school so they can enjoy flexibility

At Little Roots Early School, we strive to instill in our students a sense of character and confidence. By emphasizing a commitment to family and community as well as celebrating the unique qualities that each individual possesses, we hope to create young people who will embrace their future with optimism.
The mission of this school is carried out by highly trained staff, low teacher-to-student ratios, and an innovative curriculum. Local businesses have donated resources to help with the design of a new building that will replace the old one.
We care about the quality of our work and invest in our staff by offering ongoing training, salary increases based on performance, and opportunities for promotion. We require that our staff participate in continuing education workshops so that they may learn new techniques for teaching.
Our teachers have been carefully selected for their professionalism, compassion, and dedication. Their commitment to serving children is evident in how they engage each child as an individual and challenge them academically through "hands-on" learning activities.
We emphasize “hands-on” learning for children ages two through six, with a curriculum focusing on reading, math and science. The program is structured at a pace to accommodate each child's individual skill level.
LRES will produce resources that respond to the unique strengths, needs and cultures of vulnerable minority children.
Little Roots Early School will help Racine families overcome discrimination and ensure that all children, regardless of race, ethnicity or ability have access to quality early education. LRES partners with children, families, and organizations to provide culturally relevant programs that promote early childhood development.
LRES will support the families and community of Racine County in Southeastern Wisconsin, making meaningful and lasting improvements. We are aligning with four key areas—Accessibility Affordability Quality Workforce within Early Education
